Couple of issues: 1.) Like Finn--I had no problem with your original patch, it's simpler and probably faster also. I still kept the int conversion function, but otherwise used that patch, with some simple comments added in. 2.) The original bug you mentioned in #2 below: "findBaseProperty: basePropertyValue is erroneously used instead of basePropertyName in finding the propertyID."--I misunderstood the problem, I thought you were just talking about the temporary String<-->int conversions. I finally saw the issue--sorry for the confusion on my part! Glen
