a polite request: please post user questions to the fop-user list as the
fop-dev list is for matters concerning fop's development only.
Now to your question, I believe you need to specify:
white-space-collapse="false" AND line-feed-treatment="preserve"
you also need to make sure that if you are using XSLT to generate your
FO, that the white space is not dropped by the transformation.
