           Summary: <fo:block id="x" span="all">
           Product: Fop
           Version: 0.20.5
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Windows XP
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: fo tree
        AssignedTo: fop-dev@xmlgraphics.apache.org
        ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

I recieve the following when an otherwise unique id is used on a block with
span=all

javax.servlet.ServletException: null:4359:177 The id "x" already exists in
this document
        com.xxx.fop.FopServlet.renderFO(FopServlet.java:157)
        com.xxx.fop.FopServlet.doGet(FopServlet.java:116)
        javax.servlet.http.HttpServlet.service(HttpServlet.java:743)
        javax.servlet.http.HttpServlet.service(HttpServlet.java:856)

The page sequence references a simple page master with multiple columns. The
block needs to span all of the columns to add a centered table. When an Id is
added to any fo:block in the page sequence the proceeding message is
displayed. Inhibiting development of TOC.

Perhaps work around exists.
