...but I probably did, because I was replying with the entire thread in mind, and the quoted text which I used as a "handle" certainly wasn't the most appropriate for what I wanted to say -- it just happened to be the last message in the thread, and it triggered my response because it mentioned the region-reference (and a little later, the nearest ancestor ref area) as the reference area for fixed positioning.
