Hi All

Just been playing around a bit with the XSL-FO core functions, and I noticed that currently, if you have:

<fo:block-container height="25mm">
  <fo:block-container height="50%" absolute-position="absolute"
                      top="from-nearest-specified-value(height) div 2">

The inner block-container's top is offset by only 6.25mm (where I would somehow expect 12.5mm)

So, my question is whether FOP or my expectation is in error here. Does the self-node count as a 'closest ancestor'?

WDYT?

Cheers

Andreas
