I know it's not directly FOP-related, but I thought people on this list might like to know (and apologies for those who get several copies of the announcement!)...
The W3C XSL Working Group has published a requirements document for the Extensible Stylesheet Language (XSL) Version 2.0 [1], along with a Survey [2] to ask potential implementors and users for feedback on the relative importance of the proposed new features. We are beginning to explore the technical issues in more detail, and would be very interested in comments, either via the survey or through Bugzilla (as described in the status section of the requirements document). We don't have the resources to implement all of the requirements in a spec, so almost certainly not everything will happen -- perhaps we should have called it "XSL FO 2.0 Wishlist!"
