Its possible to absolutely position an image on the page using FO similar to
the following:
<fo:block-container absolute-position="absolute" top="2cm" left="2cm"
width="5cm" height="5cm"><fo:block><fo:external-graphic
src="image.jpg"/></fo:block></fo:block-container>
