Hi Chris,

java version "1.6.0_10"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0_10-b33)
Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 11.0-b15, mixed mode)

I redesigned my code to use less than 2GB memory meanwhile, so I can't exactly 
say what went wrong. I just remember it got quite wobbly with more than 2GB.

Really? We've done some generation of larger documents with 8 or even
16Gb before now without issue. Using Sun JDK 1.5 or 1.6 (64 bit of
course) seems to work fine.
