that's a good point but I don't think any decision has been made regarding the
proper way to say FOP, i.e., whether to say it as a word (I happen to say it
that way) or to say it as individual letters. maybe this is the time to have a
vote and make it official?
as an example, PNG is officially known as ping although most of us refer to it
as individual letters (I do); so what is official may not be what is used in
the end but at least would help resolve issues like this.
