True Type fonts which are subset by default.
The difference is that TrueType subsetting has always been available for as far
as I can remember. Subsetting Type 1 fonts by default will have an impact on
performance that users might no expect, and not be happy with. I'd leave Type 1
subsetting disabled for now and flag it as experimental. Once we have gathered
enough experience with it and are confident that it's stable and efficient, we
can always switch it on.
