Chris Bowditch commented on FOP-2889:
-------------------------------------

Sorry if I'm being a little slow but I don't understand your point. We aren't
distributing the libraries, we are using them as a build dependency off
Redhat's server. If Redhat didn't want you to use them at all then why are they
publicly available on their nexus server?

>
> +*Problem:*+ When trying to include FOP 2.4 in a Java Maven project, the
> following artifacts cannot be found through maven-central:
> {noformat}
> <dependency>
>       <groupId>javax.media</groupId>
>       <artifactId>jai-core</artifactId>
>       <version>1.1.3</version>
> </dependency>
> <dependency>
>       <groupId>com.sun.media</groupId>
>       <artifactId>jai-codec</artifactId>
>       <version>1.1.3</version>
> </dependency>{noformat}
> As a result, building the project is impossible.
