Romanian special characters such as ‘ș,ț’ are replaced by an ‘x’ with FOP (ARIALUNI.ttf). Arial Unicode MS (ARIALUNI.ttf) contains Romanian characters. This font is known for its extensive support of many international characters and scripts, including the Romanian language: Why are these characters ‘ș,ț’ replaced by ‘#’ in the Fop?
