Hello,
The following code works using the 0.20.2 release.
The issue in the initial code comes from the fact that the from-parent
function does not work on a block parent.

Hmmmm. Here's a piece of code which should work but, it creates an
invalid PDF and generates [error] org.apache.fop.layout.BlockArea. I
don't know why. You should be able to get the parent block's positions
using the from-parent() function. And, I thought I'd done it
successfully once.
Anyone with some clues?
