Use FOP to render to PDF, PS, MIF, and maybe soon RTF...
if you want to have a HTML transformation of your FO source, you can use the fo2html XSL styleSheet provided by RenderX. (http://www.renderx.com/fo2html.html)
This is a different Work. transforming into html is simple transformation that will let the final renderer (a Browser in this case) do the hard work (like displaying images, and all the layout process). When you are rendering to PDF, FOP does all the hard work for you.
