info for warnings

I'm hoping someone can point me to where I might get further information on the messages FOP produces during processing.   Here is the one that is perplexing me at the moment:   [WARNING] Sum of fixed column widths 684000 greater than maximum specified IPD 683999   I'd like to know what units the 684000 and 683999 refer to and how they are computed.  Also what does IPD stand for?    Sorry if I'm being a pest, but I've looked in vain on the FOP pages for a reference to such messages.   Thanks for your attention.   --Dan
