This should indicate that content on a line overflows it and
supposedly flows into a neighboring area (most likely a table
cell). Unfortunately, the line content so far should be printed
at the end, and as there is nothing there, it is empty or all
white space. Maybe the logic detecting overflows is a bit in
disarray when it comes to table cells.
