A really really good visual editor is Inventive Designer’s Scriptura program. It’s java based, and allows you to do many of the standard FO spec functions.

The only negative is that I find it prohibitively expensive. But the demo can give you a good idea of what it can do.

I've posted this question once, but I wanted to see if there has been any updates from its last inception. I'm looking for some sort of visual fo editor that will allow me to edit an xsl file graphically and do some sort of on the fly generation. Is there anything like that out there? I know XMLSPY has their Stylesheet Designer tool, but it allows you to only edit .sps files which produce xsl files. I'm looking to edit my existing .xsl files, so that tool was out. I thought about "attempting" to write some sort of Eclipse plugin that performed some of the features that I'm referring to, but it made my brain hurt trying to think of how I'd accomplish it. _________________ |
