Folks,
It looks like I may need to implement word spacing and fix the bug where kerning pairs are not applied to the last character of a word and its trailing space, as well as the first character of a word and its leading space.
Has anyone tried to do this in the past against the "maintenance" branch and failed? Can anyone tell me how big a project this might be?
I've looked at the org.apache.fop.render.pdf.PDFRenderer and think I have a general idea of the work involved, but would appreciate a heads up or friendly advice before I get going.
