Hi, what do you mean with the insertion of page-break? Would this mean, that the footnote will always be printed on the next page? In my case this would mean, that the last page contains only the footnote and no further content. Is that right?

When on the page isn't enough space left for the footnote so the footnote won't be printed. The workaround here is to insert a page-break. Hope I could help you.
