Thanks for your valuable replies Lukas and Dominic. I have just configured puppet master and puppetdb on different vms. Thought of configuring foreman on dedicated vm and integrate foreman with Master and db. This is all poc setup. My ultimate goal is to manage 2000 + linux unix systems with different flavors and provisioning. So which is the best way to achieve HA ? Configuring master, db and foreman on single server is this advisable (will it be able to manage the load). Work is to install packages, change config files and server provisioning.
