That is strange. Can you ls on the directories /etc/pki/katello/certs/ and
/etc/pki/pulp/.

What is the package you are trying to sync?

Also give this a shot:

systemctl stop pulp_workers pulp_celerybeat pulp_resource_manager
systemctl start pulp_workers pulp_celerybeat pulp_resource_manager
systemctl restart httpd
and then try to resume the task
