Hi @ all, I encounter few problems while trying to set up from scratch foreman 1.12 with puppet 4.5.
My target: Create Host in Foreman (Hosts -> New Host) --> VM creation from Template in VMware with Overriding customization_specs with values for interface tab in New Host from --> startup vmware vm --> puppet agent installation & configuration What I did: - Installation von foreman and puppet based on official documentation - Activation of vmware plugin - Created compute ressource vmware with vCenter Connection - Created compute profile with CPU, Ram, Folder, Datacenter etc. - Created image Ubuntu 16.04 with VMware Template Path and Userdata checked - Configured under Hosts -> Operationsystem Preseed default Userdata as Userdata Template The Problem: - Getting strange errors like Failed to create a compute VMware getit Cluster (VMware) instance test-srv-02.customer.getit.de: undefined method `[]' for nil:NilClass Any Idea ?
