I am getting this same error with 1.12.1 under c7 right now in a test
environment. Currently it's DC/esxi host (no cluster). I tried with a
cluster with host in it as DC/cluster/esxi and it failed as well.
I looked at the mentioned patches and they do not seem to be valid anymore
with the vmware.rb file.Running test on the vSphere connection is good.
