Hi,
as far as I know password encryption is currently not supported by the infoblox 
proxy; if you want to extend it you can create a PR on 
https://github.com/theforeman/smart_proxy_dhcp_infoblox . As an example you 
could look how foreman encrypts passwords, but in any case you'd need it to be 
decryptable by the foreman-proxy user. I'm not sure if it would benefit 
security much. You can just set acls for the configuration file to be readable 
by foreman-proxy user only; that should have the same security impact.

Good day,
We installed the Infoblox dhcp smart-proxy and connected fine. One question 
that came around was we noticed the password within the dhcp_infoblox.yml 
file is in plain text. Has anyone testing encrypting the password?
Just wondering.
