Hi Guys, I am using Katello from some time and facing an issue for the first time. I googled for but not found any solution yet. Its bit complicated to me.
My Katello has two product EL6 and EL7 which sync all the RPM from Pulp repository usually. I don't face any issue while publishing EL6 using Content View, however for EL7 its something else. I can see my katello pulp repository has updated RPMs available at http://katelloSrv/pulp/repos/content/dist/rhel/server/7/7Server/x86_64/os/ like below I can see a RPM for Linux-firmware with 20160830 available. but while creating a new Release in Content View, its not there at all. I tried several times and the result is same. After the promotion I can go to the following link and search for the same RPM at http://katelloSrv/pulp/repos/myOrg/INT_PRD/myOrg_Red_Hat_Enterprise_Linux_7_Server_x86_64/custom/Red_Hat_Enterprise_Linux_7_Server_x86_64/rhel-7-server-rpms which seems the latest RPM is not promoting to the new release in Content View. Due to the same issue all EL7 servers has dependency problem. Can any one please guide me how to resolve this issue.
