Jason Yeh, I did read that upgrades can overwrite them... However no updates or upgrades have been performed on this installation.. So I'm struggling to understand how they're being reverted...
Cloning the stock ones is fine, however will lead to a lot of sprawl, as I'll be cloning multiple templates, some just because i've had to clone the lowest level snippet to edit it...
