If you want to point hammer to your foreman instance and use ssl, you will need to use the same hostname as is in your certificate file (/etc/pki/katello/certs/katello-default-ca.crt). Check your hammer configuration at f/etc/hammer/cli.modules.d/foreman.yml, and update the host to the fqdn of the foreman server.
