Greetings, Yup, I'm the same person who was asking on IRC but we didn't get far. :-)
OS: Scientific Linux 7.3 Ovirt: 4.1.6.2-1.el7.centos Foreman: 1.16.0-RC1 (also tried 1.15.6) I updated my OVirt SSL cert from a self-signed to a purchased one using the directions here:https://www.ovirt.org/documentation/admin-guide/appe-oVirt_and_SSL/ Everything seems to work from the web interface, curl, api's, and just about everything else I can think to check so I'm pretty confident it is installed correctly. Then I tried to add it as a compute resource in Foreman (this is a new server; not existing and has been rebuilt many times the last few days). It's in Foreman where I get the error after clicking on "Load Datacenters": Unable to save ERF56-1309 [Foreman::FingerprintException]: The remote system presented a public key signed by an unidentified certificate authority. If you are sure the remote system is authentic, go to the compute resource edit page, press the 'Test Connection' or 'Load Datacenters' button and submit. Everything I can find says that it *should* be resolved - From Red Hat, to Foreman lists, to even the Ovirt list! Yet there it is! I've added my cert to every place I can think of in Foreman. It's in the Java keystore, the host keystore, and even in random folders that it *might* be looked at. But I still get the very un-helpful and technically incorrect error in foreman. :-( What is frustrating is that it does load _the_correct_ cert automatically in the X509 field. What is really frustrating is that there's nothing in the logs or in the foreman-debug dump. And just to bump the irritation level up some, apparently ERF56-1309 doesn't actually exist as an error code: http://projects.theforeman.org/projects/foreman/wiki/ErrorCodes . :-( Can anyone help me out please? I've been trying for hours and not making progress. Thanks! ~Stack~ -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Foreman users" group.
