This Quickstart Docs are correct. Fedora 24 is last supported by 1.15 and as noboday did have time to put in the effort for updating the packaging and build chain for Fedora 25 or 26 there are no packages. If you would like to help there, please speak up. :) Same is true for Debian. Stretch will be supported by 1.16.
