When trying to read exif data from pictures taken with my Canon Ixus v2
on my iBook, I get a "Bad checknum: 10752" error (and a nonzero exit
code).

| kiko@sacarino $ metacam IMG_0556.JPG
| File: IMG_0556.JPG
| Bad checknum: 10752

| kiko@sacarino $ echo $?
| 2

However, on my desktop (i386) it works fine.

I've uploaded a sample image on http://www.pirispons.net/IMG_0556.JPG
(36163 bytes).

I've opened the bug "against" metacam, hope it is correct.

Don't know what additional info I could provide. Please let me know if I
can do so.

Best regards.
