Hello all.
As many of you know, we have KDE stuff in FL repo but no one maintains
them anymore.

The KDE core is starting to get older and older and it starting to
create more and more problems for every week that goes by.

But the main problem is all KDE applications that are built and no one
cares/uses them anymore.

I tried of KDE for few days and the first application that i wanted was
Konversation, installed it and it didnt work at all. Had to bump it to
make it to work. Tried out ktorrent, got impressed it even started. So i
had to bump that one right away. Was few years old.

So now that i try to bump xine-lib, that few kde applications uses, i
hit alot of problems. Like:
kaffeine
CMake Error: The source directory
"/tmp/rmake/builds/kaffeine/kaffeine-0.8.5" does not appear to contain
CMakeLists.txt.

   * kmplayer:source: Could not satisfy build requirements:
dbus-qt3:devel=[]

The packages i mostly talk about is the ones that are from 2007 - 2008
and no one touched in years.
Like Kaffeine 0.8.5 was released 07/09/2007

kmplayer was released 19-Oct-2007
and amarok dont work in fl:2-devel.

So my question is, can we remove packages from group thats not
maintained anymore?

And how does the future look for KDE?
Will we still have gnome and KDE in same repo? Wouldent it be better to
split it and have KDE in a own repo?
Or should all devs install KDE core too to maintain those who fail?

Best regards Tomas Forsman
