yes, non intrusive regular updates %(stableVersion) -> %(stableVersion +
.1)s keep going as usual.
major version bumps (%(stableVersion) -> %(stableVersion + 1) can also
keep happening if minimally
non intrusive and self-contained. _What_ is discouraged are  bumps that
have major side effects like
forcing major reingineering in the groups, or in side packages, for one
reason or another.
