In view of a certain recent blog post, "Rumors of my demise have been greatly exaggerated" seems a particularly appropriate (mis)quote. Website Status (front page missing): Og Maciel was asked by freenode staff to make a redirect to prove that he was indeed the new foresight contact. Removing the redirect apparently caused the issue. Normal operation has now resumed. Proposed release sprint tasks: * Adapt the stillborn 2.1.2 release umbrella task to the 2.3.5 release (OgMaciel?, ermo) * Website content overhaul: ** Check link integrity between userguide <-> wiki <-> wp-site (afranke?) ** Is it feasible to change the front page layout to get rid of the security column? (OgMaciel?, afranke?) ** Reword 'About Foresight' in response to recent criticism and to reflect a measure of 'truth in advertising'. (OgMaciel?, afranke?, ermo) * Check userguide and update if necessary (afranke?, OgMaciel?) * Get the PkgKit memory consumption down so that updating from 2.1.2 to 2.3.5 using the GUI works with machines with 1GB of RAM.
