Thanks Tomas for your reply. My main objective with reviewing what we ship by default is to remove things that could be later added by the user if they so choose to. If, for instance, we want to deliver a gnome-do by default distro to the end user, than we can get rid of other packages that would not make sense to have around.
But I don't want to get ahead of myself here. My short term goal is to figure out if there's any bloat in the default distro and see if we can make it lighter. A newer layout (i.e. themes, icons, gnome-do?) would be something for a future iteration... -- Og B.
