I think you will be fine with the versions you are using. Changelog for hibernate 3.2.5: http://sourceforge.net/project/shownotes.php?release_id=529023&group_id=40712 I couldn't see anything that are important for Sculptor, except maybe FlushMode, but I think we still use FlushMode.NEVER instead of the new MANUAL, because of compatibility with older hibernate versions :-)
