I commited to SVN support for 'readonly' hint on attribute and reference for example: String status hint="readonly"
and in entity class setStatus will be generated as protected (don't mix with changeable). You have to change value as side effect of other method calls (constructor, another setter, another method, ...). Hope it will be useful for you as much as for me ;-).
