Please check also version of gwt-plugin in smartclient pom.xml. It should look like: <plugin> <groupId>org.codehaus.mojo</groupId> <artifactId>gwt-maven-plugin</artifactId> <version>1.2</version>
I'm preparing new version in 1.9.0-SNAPSHOT. Today (night) I will update smartclient confluence tutorial, I guess it will be easier to setup than previous version. Stay tuned and thanks for interest.
