Inflasi itu dihitung dari sisi harga yg metodenya lebih ke sisi penawaran.. Jdi dia bisa turun jika volume yg dikonsumsi dihemat.. Kl mau ukurannya kesejahteraan, hrs dilihat dr sisi permintaan, yaitu daya beli.
Jika Inflasi turun daya beli naik itu lbh sejahtera. Jika Inflasi turun daya beli turun ya sami mawon. Organisasi Pekerja Seluruh Indonesia (OPSI) sejak 2008 rutin triwulanan menemani angka BPS soal inflasi dg mengeluarkan Indeks Daya Beli Pekerja.. Hasilnya Daya Beli tahun 2008 turun -23%.
