Blackburn manager Graeme Souness appears to have missed out on the signing
of Sedan full-back David Di Tomassio after the player failed to show up for
a one-week trial period at Ewood Park.
Di Tomassio was due to arrive at Blackburn's Brockhall training ground this
morning, but Souness now believes that the defender has snubbed a move to
Rovers in favour of another deal on the continent.
Souness said: "David was supposed to be here on Tuesday morning, but he
didn't arrive. It looks like he has fixed himself up elsewhere.
"The idea was for us to take a look at him during training, but it looks as
though that isn't going to happen now."
