Hola Manuel.
Yo tambi�n tengo, aparte del email del trabajo (donde recibo los mensajes del f�rum), una cuenta de Hotmail.
Hay programas freeware que te permiten descargar los mensajes de Hotmail al PC (y as� vaciar tu capacidad ocupada).
Yo en concreto uso el Hotmail Popper, y los descargo en mi Outlook.
Incluso sirve (en combinaci�n con alg�n otro programa freeware, en mi caso el Eprompter) para saber si tienes mensajes de Hotmail nuevos sin tener que abrir el navegador, etc.

Hotmail Popper
What is it?
Hotmail Popper is a small application that allows you to check your Hotmail account e-mail from a normal POP mail client (such as Eudora). Unlike standard mail accounts which allow users to retrieve their e-mail through a POP mail client, Hotmail can normally only be checked on the web, or via Outlook Express. With Hotmail Popper, you can use your favorite POP mail client to retrieve your e-mail from your Hotmail account.

How do I use it?
First, run Hotmail Popper if it is not already running. There is no interface to see most of the time, except for a small icon in your Taskbar Notification Area. You can right-click on this icon to set options (see below), although most users will not need to change the settings from their defaults.
To configure your e-mail client, setup a new POP account to check mail from. For the POP server's address, type "127.0.0.1" (or if you modified the Hotmail Popper options, use whatever you changed the address to). For the login / username for this account, use your full Hotmail address, for example "[EMAIL PROTECTED]" or "[EMAIL PROTECTED]". Finally, your password will be the same as your normal Hotmail password. Please be aware that your password is case sensitive so be careful about which letters are capitals; this is not usually true when logging into your Hotmail account on the web, so be sure to double-check this if your password is said to be invalid.

Now just check your mail as usual. The account you just configured will retrieve your Hotmail messages!
Note: Under Windows NT/2000/XP, Hotmail Popper needs to be run with Administrative Privileges, so that it is allowed to bind to the standard POP port.
Configuration
To change the Hotmail Popper configuration, right-click on its icon in the Taskbar Notification Area and choose Options from the menu that appears. There are only three options that can be configured:
- Address: This is the address that Hotmail Popper binds to, and by default it is set to "127.0.0.1". For normal personal usage, you shouldn't need to change this. If you wish to make Hotmail Popper accessible to others on your internal network, you can change this to a valid internal network IP for your machine, for example "192.168.1.42".
- Port: This is the port that Hotmail Popper binds to, and by default it is set to "110". You shouldn't normally need to change this value. One reason you might need to is if you already have a different POP server running on your computer. Note however, that some POP mail clients do not allow you to specify the port of the POP server they are to check mail from.
- Start automatically with Windows: Check this off if you wish to have Hotmail Popper start when Windows starts. If you uncheck this option, you will need to start Hotmail Popper manually before you can check your Hotmail account with your POP mail client.

| Saludos para TODOS, les agradezco de antemano
por la atencion prestada y ojala me puedan ayudar con estas 2 consultas,
q' las tengo desde hace un tiempo atras y recien las puedo escribir.
Como todos nosotros sabemos diariamente nos llegan los mensajes del Foro y q' lo ideal es tener todos los mensajes a la mano, ya sea en nuestro correo del trabajo o guardarlo en el disco duro de la PC, pero el problema se da cuando uno solo tiene un correo Yahoo o Hotmail y por la capacidad maxima (q' es muy limitada) q' te dan en ambas compa�ias es de solo 4 MB u 2 MB respectivamente se llena rapidamente y por consiguiente ya no te llegaran diariamente los correos de las listas por haberse llenado tu e-mail, yo en mi afan de poder tener todo esto q' menciono (ya q' para mi es muy importante) compre 25 MB de Almacenamiento para esta cuenta pero ya la tengo casi llena y por eso es mi pregunta, creo haber visto q' hay un link en donde hay figuran todos los mensajes de la lista desde la creacion de la lisma, ya sea: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [EMAIL PROTECTED] etc De ser asi por favor agradecere me indican cuales son las direccciones y si estan actualizados los mensajes o estan atrasados por un dia o algo asi y en caso requiera algo como poder obterner mensajes referidos a un tema en especial para no estar diciendolo algo q' de repente ya se ha visto anteriormente. Y por ultimo como poder probar alguna de las cosas q' se menciona en el foro, ya sea comandos nuevos, tips, utilidades, etc si no cuento con un AS/400 a la mano, creo q' hace unos meses se hablo algo al respecto, y se menciono algo de via FTP mediante en un servidor y nose q' mas. Bueno me despido no quiero quitarles mas tiempo en espera de sus valiosas respuestas. Gracias sALvdos |
