En mi caso estoy situado en una LAN, y aunque dije anteriormente que los ISERIES estaban en V5R2, realmente est�n en V5R1 (sorry !!!!). Creo que la soluci�n pasa por instalar V5R2, y sobre todo tener instalada la PTF MF30769.
Buscando por IBM solo he encontrado referencias al SAVRSTLIB SLOW en la
V5R2.

Communication with the SAVRSTOBJ command
Is the only communication method for the SAVRSTOBJ command between
processors SNA, i.e. APPN/APPC? I would like to move to TCP/IP, but from
first trial it does not work.

Yes, SAVRSTOBJ is designed to use an SNA, APPC/APPN connection to
another iSeries. You can enable SNA communications over TCP/IP on an
iSeries though.
You will need to do the following:
1. Change the Network Attribute ALWANYNET to *YES.
2. Create an APPC controller with LINKTYPE(*ANYNW).
3. Add entries to the APPN remote location list.
4. Map APPC LU name to an Internet address.
Details on this configuration can be found here.
The AnyNet feature isn't perfect, though. There can be issues such as
disconnecting sessions and slow performance over wide area networks when
transporting large amounts of data. If you plan to use this scenario to
move relatively small objects between system, you should be fine. Give
it a try and see if it works in your environment.

Algunas consultillas, a ver si me puede alguien dar alguna idea.
A fin configurar un sistema de backup por red, estoy salvando
bibibliotecas de un ISERIES y restaurandolas en otro ISERIES via el
comando
SAVRSTLIB. Los dos ISERIES los tengo en la misma LAN y conectados por
IP.
Este comando SAVRSTLIB contiene un parametro RMTLOCNAME que hace
referencia
a los par�metros LCLNETID y LCLCPNAME del comando DSPNETA (atributos de
red). En principio atribuyo que estos par�metros hacen referencia
exclusivamente a la arquitectura APPC. (�?�?�) y no ha otros protocolos
como TCP-IP. A fin de llevar a cabo mi objetivo, he creado unos
controladores/dispositivos APPC que funcionan con *ANYNW(posibilita
ejecuci�n de aplicaciones APPC a traves de un transporte distinto del
SNA)
y de esta manera consigo conectar los dos ISERIES y consigo salvar y
restaurar bibliotecas de un ISERIES a otro. Perfecto.
Pero el problema es que va Hyper-lento. En una red 100 Mbps y con
adaptadores de red de esa velocidad, la tasa de transferencia es de
10Kbps
y claro, el backup es imposible que acabe en un tiempo razonable.
Las preguntas son:
- Estoy limitado a esa velocidad por el tipo de arquitectura SNA ?
- O el problema es el utilizar estos controlodadores/dispositivos
que
convierten SNA a TCPIP que relantizan ?
- O conoc�is alguna otra forma de aplicar lo que estoy haciendo,
teniendo en cuenta que no puedo crear SAVF y pasarlos por FTP por falta
de
espacio ?
