Quien envía el ftp puede ejecutar un programa, basta utilizar el mandato
de ftp de ejecución remota. (de memoria no te puedo decir la sintaxis,
pero si lo quieres hacer así, puedo mirarlo).
Si tienes control sobre la rutina que ejecuta el ftp puede ser una
solución. Incluso te podría haber pasado el nombre del archivo generado
como parámetro, solucionando ambos problemas de una vez.

Saludos a todos
de antemano agradezo la ayuda o idea que me puedan dar, un cliente nos va a
estar enviando por FTP un archivo y lo va a copiar a un directorio del IFS,
despues un programa va a copiar este archivo a un archivo fisico, quisiera
saber si hay algun comando o API que me permita obtener el nombre de ese
archivo ya que va a estar variando y como le puedo hacer para que el programa
se ejecute automaticamente al momento de recibir el archivo
