Conviertelos en imágenes utilizando un dispositivo óptico Virtual.
1. Si es que no lo tienes creado, crealo: CRTDEVOPT DEVD(OPTVRT01)
RSRCNAME(OPTVRT01) TYPE(632B)
ONLINE(*YES) MSGQ(QSYS/QSYSOPR)
2. CRTIMGCLG IMGCLG(CATALOGO1) DIR('/Imagenes/SIST_operativo')
CRTDIR(*YES)
3. pones el CD1 y ejecutas: ADDIMGCLGE IMGCLG(CATALOGO1)
FROMDEV(OPT01) TOFILE( *GEN)
4. repites para CD2, CD3, CD4, etc.
5. Una vez generadas las Imágenes cargas el catalogo:
LODIMGCLG IMGCLG(CONNDIRECT) DEV(OPTVRT01) OPTION(*LOAD)
6. Luego lo clasificas: VFYIMGCLG IMGCLG(CATALOGO1) TYPE(*PTF)
SORT(*YES), puede ser por PTF,Upgrade u otros.
7. Luego realizar la instalación de PTFs, referenciando el dispositivo
virtual OPTVRT01.

Hola a todos
Tengo en mi poder los cd's de un acumultivo.
¿Como podria pasarlos al iseries para efectuar una instalacion de ptf's sin
tener que meterlos de uno en uno despues?
Para rizar el rizo, quiero instalar las ptf's en OTRO iseries. ¿se pueden pasar
de una maquina a otra?
Y por ultimo ¿como se instalarian esas imagenes?
