Gracias Ignacio Andres, pero te recuerdo que era una broma. Solo quería apuntar una cosa más sobre este tema. Una máquina al 95% puede hacer de todo. Me decía un cliente.......pero no es lo mismo el 95% de un Tera que de 40 GB. Como yo tengo un montón de discos, mi 5% es mucho mayor. Falso ¡¡¡, me tengo que ir a currar, si alguien piensa lo contrario quizás sea un buen tema "para un viernes". Insisto, con la máquina al 95% solo Dios tiene respuestas para los líos que aparezcan en tu sistema. Un saludo

One way to reduce the recovery time is to use the System Managed Access Path Protection (SMAPP) feature. SMAPP is based on a user selected target recovery time. SMAPP offers system monitoring of potential access path rebuild time. You select a time threshold for rebuilding. This is the maximum amount of time in minutes that is allowed for rebuilding keyed access paths during an IPL recovery. Recovery time can be specified for each ASP. Or use one number for the entire system. SMAPP starts and stops the journaling of system selected access paths automatically and dynamically to meet the target time threshold for access path recovery time. SMAPP is complementary to any existing database journaling activity and, where appropriate, shares existing journal receivers. All keyed access paths on the system are scanned. SMAPP calculates the total time required to rebuild these access paths and compares the calculated time to the target recovery time. Based on the difference between the two times, SMAPP selects which keyed access paths to protect. SMAPP journals the selected access paths under-the-covers to ensure that the target recovery times are not exceeded in the event of an abnormal system termination. The actual time required for rebuilding keyed access paths may vary slightly from the target recovery time. Use the Display Recovery for Access Paths (DSPRCYAP) or Edit Recovery for Access Paths (EDTRCYAP) commands to view and specify the target recovery time. Yo haría lo que alguien apuntó anteriormente. IPL en manual, hace IPL hasta DST's ??? Si la respuesta es YES, tira palante a ver donde casca. Si es un problema de ocupación algo vas a perder, por jemplo el Spool. En tiempo de IPL puedes borrar muchas cosas. Si la respuesta en NO, la jodimos, microcode problem habemus. A restaurar.
