Hola, Mi opinión personal es que si esto te ha empezado a pasar hace poco lo más importante es descubrir qué te genera estas conexiones, no sea que hayas instalado una nueva aplicación que se conecte por ODBC y el hecho de limitarla haga que la aplicación no funcione correctamente. Otra posibilidad que no habría de descartar es que alguien esté haciendo un uso indebido, o incluso no autorizado, a tu base de datos.

Según lo tengas definido en el subsistema donde se ejecutan (QUSRWRK generalmente), una vez que un cliente termina su trabajo, otro cliente puede usar el mismo para conectarse, y asi sucesivamente. Uno como administrador puede limitar el nro. de veces que se utiliza uno de estos trabajos (son trabajos de pre-arranque) y para cambiar esto y dejar que solo se ejecute 1 job por petición de cliente, debes ejecutar lo siguiente: 1) indicar el nro. inicial de Jobs y el maximo de uso que tendra: CHGPJE SBSD(QUSRWRK) PGM(QZDASOINIT) INLJOBS(1) THRESHOLD(1) ADLJOBS(2) MAXUSE(1) 2) Detener el servicio: ENDPJ SBS(QUSRWRK) PGM(QZDASOINIT) OPTION(*IMMED) 3) Arrancar el servicio: STRPJ SBS(QUSRWRK) PGM(QZDASOINIT) De ahí en adelante cada cliente solo usara 1 vez un Job y luego este ultimo terminará.
