I'm glad you like Theodore and find it helpful when working with Thinlets.
There are only minor differences between the freeware and the AP version of
Theodore.

Theodore-AP doesn't require a live Internet connection and makes you
independent from your ISP and Carlsbad Cubes' hosting provider (LunarPages).
Other than that differences are minor.

BTW, Theodore has cut/copy & paste functionality - check the button panel
separating the DOM tree from the attributes list and the left side. There
are COPY, CUT, and PASTE buttons among other helpful tools.

We are currently working hard to finalize the API for a Swixml 1.0 release.
Swixml 1.0 should be release early in March. An Theodore-like editor
(codenamed Franklin) is in the makings as well.
While we were targeting to release Swixml 1.0 and Franklin at the same time,
the Franklin-Editor is at least a magnitude more complex than Theodore and
we are now hoping to release a Franklin beta about two to three weeks after
Swixml 1.0.

Subject: [Forum] Theodore

Mr. Paulus,

I have web started Theodore for Thinlet and I found it useful, well
designed and apparently free of bugs (despite some minor editor improvements
such as cut/copy & paste functionalities, apparently missing), definitely a
great job.

Now, I have some questions to ask you.

1. Is there any difference between the Web Start and the -AP versions, and
if which ones?
2. Do you plan to support also SWIX in the future (or is there any
equivalent to Theodore working with SWIX)?

Thanks for your collaboration.

Marco Sivero
