Hi, I have been trying to install the xgap package according to the README included in the xgap-4.29/ subdirectory. However, when I try to run the xgap.sh startup script in the terminal it waits for XQuartz to start up and then simply displays the following output:
"open master failed" I am using the most recent version of XQuartz which is 2.7.11 and Gap 4.10.1. I am running macOS 10.14.3 Mojave. I have looked through the config.log that creates the makefile for xgap and the PATH variable seems to be pointing to the right place for the X11 installation. Perhaps I am missing something obvious but I was hoping someone else may have had this issue and could suggest where I am going wrong? The main reason I am trying to activate xgap is to use the Interactive Todd Coxeter (itc) package which depends on xgap. If there was another way to use the itc package I would also be open to that suggestion.
