Dear GAP forum, how can I work with the additive group of a field or a ring?
For example, how can I find out if the additive group of GF(4) is cyclic or not? Or, let Z be the additive group of the integers. How do I compute the index of the intersection of 2*Z and 3*Z in Z, with a command similar to Index(Integers,Intersection(2*Integers,3*Integers)); ? thanks, Philipp -- Psssst!
