Dear GAP Forum,

While the GAP forum does not usually accept job advertisements, we make an exception in the rare event that we get an opportunity to recruit people specifically to work on developing GAP. We are lucky enough to be in that position at St Andrews this year, thanks to a recently awarded four year research grant in which we aim to develop GAP to take advantage of the parallel computing possibilities of modern hardware, from multi-core laptops through various kinds of clusters to national supercomputers.

The official advertisement is found at http://www.st-andrews.ac.uk/employment/Code,32980,en.html , where you will also find links to further particulars and application forms.
