Though this part of Mathematics has many different branches, still the unique style of algebraic thinking is recognizable and retained in all kind of algebraic research. The meeting will utilize this common language to bring together algebraists working in different research directions and to facilitate conversations and discussions between researchers. The meeting also puts some emphasis on the computational aspects of abstract algebra. Topics include, but not limited to: groups and semigroups rings and algebras fields, modules, vector spaces universal algebra, category theory abstract algebraic algorithms Location Eger is a charming little town in Northern-East Hungary, east of the Mátra mountains and south of the Bükk mountains. It is famous for its historical buildings including a castle and a turkish minaret, thermal baths and wine. The meeting is hosted by the Eszterházy Károly College and the venue is right behind the castle.
